NATIONAL READING DAY - 2026

Vyasa Vidya Peethom celebrated June 19 as National Reading Day in honour of P.N. Panicker, the father of the Library Movement in Kerala. The occasion was inaugurated by noted poet and speaker K.P. Muraleedharan, who inspired students with the importance of cultivating a reading habit. Various literary activities and reading sessions were organised to mark the day, encouraging students to embrace books as lifelong companions and uphold the legacy of P.N. Panicker.
